You can have your data deleted. Read this first: it is a request you send us by email, not a button in the app. There is no self service deletion feature in the product today, so a person handles it and confirms when it is done.

This policy is a working draft pending Daniel's final review.
Email support@takeieltstest.com (placeholder address, pending confirmation) from the email address on your account, with the subject line "Delete my data".
Say whether you want everything deleted along with the account, or only part of it, for example one recording or one attempt. You do not need to give a reason.
If you write from a different address we will have to verify that the account is yours before deleting anything, which is slower but protects you from somebody else wiping your results.
One thing survives a deletion request: the minimum record of a payment. What was bought, when, the amount and the payment reference must be retained because accounting and tax rules require it, and a payment record we destroyed would be a problem for both of us. It holds no recording, no transcript and no score.
Stripe also keeps its own record of the transaction under its own retention rules, and we cannot delete that for you. If you want Stripe's copy addressed, that is a request to Stripe.
[To confirm with Daniel: the statutory retention period that applies to those payment records].
We act on deletion requests by hand, in the order they arrive. [To confirm with Daniel: the deletion turnaround to commit to here]. You will get a confirmation email when it is done, naming what was removed.
Deletion cannot be undone. Your past results and the recordings behind them are gone, so if you might want to compare a future attempt against them, download or copy anything you want to keep first. Deleting your data does not by itself refund anything you have paid for: see the refund policy for that.
